KILATIS

  Called, Gifted and Sent Reynaldo R. Capili, SSS   An irresistible call gathers us five - Jose Arnel, Gregorio Jr., Reynaldo, Dante and Victoriano,  in Sta. Cruz Parish Convent, Sta. Cruz, Manila where the blue car with smiling driver awaits us, that was April 27, 1988.  We continue listening to the call, and like St. Paul on his way to Damascus, we were blinded by His light and we asked “Who are you, sir?” The voice, of the one who calls, said, “I am Jesus, the Nazarean, whom you do not know ?” we replied, “ Then, reveal yourself to us, Lord .” A reciprocal love story unfolds before us, as “… we welcome the Lord Jesus in His Eucharistic presence… ,” (Rule of Life #3) on that faithful morning of May first, nineteen ninety. Twenty-five years ago, is not so distant a time, but ever so fresh and invigorating to reminisce, especially if it is something dear to us, our consecration to God and his people .
